Plant space mutation breeding is the use of the spacecraft to the space by the space of energetic particles , micro gravity , magnetic field , high vacuum plant seeds , tissue , organ , or individual life , so that the plant material to gene mutation , then breeding ground breeding , and we need to breed traits . Research seed Spaceflight mutagenic effect is to reveal the mechanism of Space Mutation breeding of new varieties of the basic work . In this study, retrievable satellites practice on the 8th equipped with ordinary white clover lawn grass seed , to return to the ground , its germination ; seedlings planted buds, plant root growth ; grow into plants , leaf shape, size, area ; plant height, number of branches , leaf chlorophyll content , photosynthetic characteristics of white clover plants and leaf ultrastructure structure variance analysis, designed to provide reference and basis after the theory and technology of space breeding . The results are as follows: 1 satellite germination potential and germination index was significantly higher than the control ; shoot length was significantly higher than that of the control , root length , root to shoot ratio was significantly lower than that of the control . Satellite white clover plant height had no significant effect on leaf size has a certain extent promote the branches of white clover . 3 satellite equipped with contemporary leaf chlorophyll a and total chlorophyll decreased significantly. 4 satellite peroxidase activity of white clover seedlings have improved significantly. 13:00-15:00 satellite equipped with white clover net photosynthetic rate ( Pn ) , stomatal conductance ( Cond ) , transpiration rate (Tr) was significantly lower than the control ( p lt ; 0.05 ) . 6 compared with the control , satellite equipped with contemporary plant chloroplast distorted starch granules , and sizes , and even some disorderly filled the entire chloroplasts, osmiophilic particle distribution is not concentrated in the chloroplast , some chloroplast distribution , some few mitochondria have obvious overflow cracking phenomenon . Grana lamellae reduced diameter to increase .
