Abstract


The engineering cost advisory service is to accept clients’orders for providing professional services on construction projects pricing and controlling, with project cost outcome document.The business was known as’a gilded signboard’of Gansu CCB in Long Yuan. But at this stage, due to the growing construction marketization, the engineering cost advisory service is developing rapidly, the employed staff is increasing, and the market is competing fiercely. After the joint stock system, the value construction bank weakens the attention of the cost advisory service for a period of time, which made the advantages of the traditional business gradually lost its former glory. Under the new situation, the study of the Construction Bank Gansu Branch cost consulting business development strategy, which helps to reshape the brand and get the lost market, will makes important significance, regardless of the business development or the competitiveness formation.This paper utilized SWOT analysis to analyses the opportunities and threats and the strengths and weaknesses on the basis of internal and external environment the service is confronting. It also made the strategic option according to the analysis and actual result at the same time of the assess of the strategic situation at the same time. Then the market position, mission and goals were determined and the development of the system was formulated according to a gap analysis. The implementation and control of the strategy were proposed from other perspective and aspects like human resources. The aim is expecting to provide guidance for the advisory business in Gansu Construction Bank or other domestic banks which open the same business.
