Abstract

The air jet mill is a minimally invasive to rot cavity preparation techniques, proposed by Black, which is a high kinetic energy of the impact through the bunch of high-speed movement of the aluminum oxide particles, dental tissue and produce a cutting action. It has some of the advantages of traditional methods, less heat, noise, vibration, safety, without anesthesia, and maximize preservation of tooth structure. For with dental phobia pediatric patients caries treatment has important clinical significance. The purpose of this study: To investigate the air abrasion cavity preparation deciduous teeth resin filling to provide the theoretical basis for the air abrasion technology in clinical applications. Part I: Children phobia related factors Objective: To investigate the incidence and causes of child dental fear (dental fear, DF). Methods: The clinical level of anxiety behavior rating scale surveys and statistical analysis of 209 cases of children's dental patients. Pre-treatment questionnaire survey, fill in a form, recorded after treatment in children with DF happened. Results: DF was no significant difference in the incidence of children of different ages; different gender and whether children have dental experience, DF statistically significant difference in the incidence. The pain is the main reason for inducing phobia, followed turbines (bur) prepared hole. Conclusion: the children DF incidence of children with poor dental experience pain turbines (bur) prepared hole factors. The children DF directly affect the second part of the prevention and treatment of children's dental air abrasion the deciduous teeth resin filling microleakage purposes: in vitro evaluation of air abrasion cavity preparation with conventional turbine cavity preparation, deciduous teeth resin filling microleakage. Method: the control group (Ⅰ, n = 12) in vitro human primary molars routine cavity preparation, the rest were 27μm (Ⅱ, n = 12) and 50 μm (III, n = 12) of alumina particulate air jet mill equipment hole . Each collected two samples, tooth etching, underwent comparative observation of the scanning electron microscope. Methylene blue solution staining in the treatment of the remaining teeth resin filling, thermal cycling. Results: 27μm alumina particle air abrasion with conventional turbine cavity preparation was no significant difference (p gt; 0.05). 50μm alumina particle air abrasion cavity preparation compared with conventional turbines can significantly reduce the deciduous teeth resin filling microleakage (p lt; 0.05). But 50μm and 27μm groups, no significant difference (p gt; 0.05). 2. Scanning electron microscope: air abrasion teeth plus etching sample surface morphology with pure air abrasive jet or conventional turbine cavity preparation by comparison, was the rule of the honeycomb. Conclusion: 50μm alumina particle air jet mill can significantly reduce the deciduous teeth resin filling microleakage. Affect the purpose of the third part of the air abrasion deciduous teeth the three filling material bonding performance: in vitro evaluation of air abrasion technology for deciduous teeth, different materials microleakage and microtensile strength. Methods: 1. Ⅰ - Ⅲ group samples of with 50μm alumina particulate air spray grinding cavity preparation, respectively nanocomposite resin flow nano resin and light-cured nano glass ionomer filling cavities of three materials. Methylene blue solution staining microleakage after thermal cycling treatment. 2. Ⅳ, Ⅴ group sample removal of crown enamel exposed dentin, air jet mill technology processing, respectively, with the flow of resin composite resin filling. Technology, using micro tensile test sample the maximum stress fracture. Results: 1. Microleakage: among the three groups filling body microleakage rate differences were significant (p lt; 0.001) microleakage lowest rate of flow of resin (p lt; 0.05). Microtensile: between the two groups of micro-tensile strength was no significant difference (p gt; 0.05). Conclusion: current nano resin of deciduous teeth air abrasion cavity preparation after filling obtain better marginal seal.
