Abstract


Objective: Osteopontin (osteopontin, OPN) is a hyperplasia associated protein was highly expressed in a variety of proliferative diseases . The purpose of this experiment is to analysis proliferative vitreo retinopathy (proliferative vitreous retinopathy, PVR) the intraocular fluid level of OPN and hyperplasia film to explore the correlation between OPN and PVR occurred . METHODS: June 2007 to January 2008 , a total of 91 cases of intraocular fluid samples using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) quantitative determination of the concentration of intraocular fluid OPN . PVR cases, 45 cases cutting surgery to accept vitreous glass the humoral (A group) , of which there are four cases at the same time take the PVR hyperplasia film parallel real-time quantitative PCR assay , 17 cases at the same time take the aqueous humor (C group) and 20 cases of age -related cataract aqueous humor (D group) line of ELISA the OPN comparison ; nine cases of normal vitreous humor (B group) . Results: vitreous humor : A group OPN concentration 778.48 ± 62.06 ng / ml in group B concentration of 452.99 ± 32.52 ng / ml , A group elevated compared with group B OPN expression (p <0.05), and the vitreous humor of the cases of group A PVR OPN concentration was increasing with the course of time distribution ; proliferative membranes OPN content higher than the retinal pigment cells ( RPE ) , F hyperplasia film = 0.14 gt ; FRPE = 0 . Aqueous humor : the C group OPN concentration 376.97 ± 56.62ng/ml D group OPN concentration 286.51 ± 49.31ng/ml OPN levels of C group was significantly higher than that in group D ( p <0.05 ) . Conclusion : PVR vitreous humor, aqueous humor and hyperplasia film in OPN levels significantly increased , and the early onset of the OPN concentration in the vitreous humor tended to increase with the progression of OPN in the occurrence of PVR , might play in promoting the development of hyperplasia role.
