Eye contusion is the ophthalmic common eye disease is one of the important reasons causing visual impairment. Physiological physics examination including visual acuity, color vision and visual field examination, but vulnerable to subjective factors; anatomical diagnosis of B-type ultrasonic computer tomography imaging studies of trauma, but the anatomical location of visual impairment could not locate; fundus fluorescein angiography and indocyanine green angiography is able to observe the subtle changes of the retina, but has some traumatic, and may cause serious systemic complications of drug allergy, health or accidents. The full-field ERG to some extent, to make an objective evaluation of the patient's visual function, but can not accurately locate the site of injury. Therefore, in the the eye contusion clinical research, there is an urgent need for a can in a short period of time recorded at the same time the visual function of the different regions of the retina electrophysiological techniques. In the 1990s, Sutter invention multifocal ERG, recorded in a short period of time a large number of local reactions, positioning, and found that small lesions in order to overcome the defects of the conventional ERG difficult to locate local lesions. At present, domestic and foreign eye contusion visual electrophysiological reports, especially the mfERG reported little. The purpose of this study was to mf-ERG examination by contusion eye contralateral healthy eye, explore and analysis multifocal ERG changes in patients with ocular contusion law; evaluation of visual function in patients with ocular contusion; provide for the treatment and prognosis of the eye contusion a reference data. Expectations of the early diagnosis and treatment of patients with ocular contusion injury assessment to provide new ideas and methods. The method uses the country special GT2000NV visual electrophysiology detector 46 cases of patients with ocular contusion detection of multifocal ERG recording multifocal ERG ring, ring, ring, ring and 5 ring a wave and b wave implicit and amplitude density, with the contralateral healthy eye control. Contusion eye four quadrants of a wave and b wave the implied period and amplitude density comparative analysis. Contusion eye a b-wave implicit phase delay, the difference was not statistically significant (p gt; 0.05); the contusions eye a b-wave amplitude sum is reduced, with a significant difference (p lt; 0.05). Eye injury after contusion vision with a ring of the b-wave amplitude density was positively correlated (r = 0.620, p lt; 0.001), age and injury vision, ring b-wave amplitude density correlation. 1 ring, 2 ring, 3 ring, 4-ring and 5-ring a wave and b-wave amplitude density and contralateral healthy eye compared to both a significant difference (p lt; 0.05), and the implied period no significant differences (p gt; 0.05), contusion eye four quadrant b wave implicit and amplitude density differences no statistically significant p-gt; 0.05). Conclusion contusion eye multifocal electroretinogram Figure b-wave amplitude density is lower than the normal control group, the most obvious change to a ring. Contusion eye visual impairment exists a lot of asymmetry, i.e. the degree of difference of only centrifugal without quadrants difference. The multifocal ERG to objectively reflect the a bruise eye visual function of the extent of damage, an effective tool for the evaluation contusion posterior pole retinal function. For clinical the objective detection ways to provide a vision of a new evaluation contusion eye center.
