Objective : To observe the Integrative Medicine clinical efficacy for the treatment of optic atrophy , and analyze the impact of its etiology , syndromes of different therapies , duration and other factors on the efficacy of summed up the law to investigate the mechanism of disease-oriented clinical research to provide more ideas . Methods: 95 cases ( 144 ) in patients with optic atrophy , mainly using Chinese medicine diagnosis and treatment methods to give Chinese medicine decoction oral and neurotrophic agents , improve microcirculation drugs, in some cases , supplemented by acupuncture , the compound anisodine injection temporal artery next subcutaneous injection therapy , before and after treatment were observed in terms of visual acuity, field of vision . Results: ( 1) in the visual aspects , after treatment, the total effective rate was 71.53% ; perimetry , the average increase in photosensitivity after treatment , the average defect reduced (P = lt; 0.05 ) . (2 ) results from of different etiology efficacy analysis , optic neuritis optic atrophy due to good effect , while the central retinal artery occlusion due to poor efficacy of optic nerve atrophy . ( 3 ) from the main TCM efficacy analysis results , better effect liver qi stagnation , liver-kidney poorer treatment outcomes . (4 ) from the basic vision point of view , the basis of visual acuity greater than 0.1 were higher than those based visual acuity less than 0.1 . ( 5) from the course of the disease , duration of less than 1 years were significantly better than the course of the disease is greater than 1 year . ( 6 ) in optic atrophy in patients with ischemic optic neuropathy and trauma caused by application compound anisodine effective than nonusers . Conclusion: Integrative treatment of optic atrophy of certain clinical efficacy , which can effectively improve the visual function of patients . Its mechanism of action may be through a variety of ways to improve the microcirculation of the retina , increase optic nerve nutrition , regulate body syndrome , thereby reducing the visual reaction domain value , activate nerve cells related to \Compound anisodine injection through regulation and improve the ocular blood supply , ischemic optic neuropathy and trauma caused by optic atrophy also has a good effect .
