Abstract


Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Western medicine therapy for retinitis pigmentosa optic atrophy . Methods: 62 patients ( 124 eyes) with retinal pigmentary degeneration of the optic nerve atrophy patients were randomly divided into three groups, respectively, using a combination of Chinese and Western medicine therapy ( the first group ) , traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture therapy (Group II) , vasodilator and neural nutritional agent static therapy ( group III) after treatment of visual acuity , field of vision before and after treatment within the group and the three treatment groups were compared . Results: ( 1 ) the three groups of the efficacy of more than 50% , while the treatment group than the other two groups ( p lt ; O.05 ) between 1 and 2 of the efficacy of the control group the difference was not statistically significant ( p gt; 0.05 ) ; (2) within the group and between - group analysis and comparison of the results of visual inspection before and after treatment the treatment group and the control group , the difference was statistically significant , and the treatment group than the control group (p lt ; 0.05) , while the control group 1 treatment before and after the difference was not statistically significant ( p gt; 0.05 ) ; three groups were compared before and after treatment ( 3 ) vision group differences were statistically significant (p lt; 0.05), between the two groups , the treatment group than the control group between 1 and 2 and 2 (p lt; 0.05), the control group showed no statistical significance ( p gt ; 0.05) . Conclusion: Integrative treatment retinitis pigmentosa optic atrophy significant effect .
