Abstract


Globosa different algal strains ( strains of Hong Kong and Shantou strains ) morphology, life history , physiological characteristics and production of dimethyl sulfide acid DMSP ( dimethyl sulfide DMS ) . The results show that : the two globosa complex shaped life cycle, there are two different cell morphology - groups and single cells . Single-cell spherical or nearly spherical diameter of about 3 ~ 9μm; glial vesicles groups hollow spherical cells embedded in the glial sac uniformly dispersed groups from several tens of microns in diameter to 3.0 cm . Single cell by successive divisions into the formation of complete groups , groups of cells continue to divide the groups increases , reaches a certain stage , the release of a large number of single-cell population decline of rupture . Culture conditions, globosa algae strains optimum growth temperature between 20 ~ 25 ℃ , the maximum specific growth rate was 0.38, the life cycle of about 25 to 30 days ; Shantou strains optimum growth temperature close to 30 ° C , the maximum ratio the growth rate was 0.48 , and the growth cycle is approximately 21 to 24 days , the growth temperature is an important limiting factor one . Nutrients have an important role in the growth of P. globosa : phosphate globosa growth reached a very significant level , nitrate reached a significant level , the interaction between nitrogen and phosphorus Shantou strains Growth was significant in lower nitrogen and phosphorus ratio range (5.9 to 19.6 ) , higher the Shantou plant growth rate . The inconsistency between the strains of Hong Kong and Shantou strains the algae physiological and ecological characteristics have obvious differences between strains . The globosa DMSP ( DMS ) high-yield algae, the DMSP ( DMS ) and physiological periods : DMSP content of the unit cell of the stabilization period up to 3898.53fmol the cell -1 Index of DMSP content of 12.3 times (317.09 fmol cell -1 ) ; stability of the unit cell of DMS content : 159.20 fmol cell -1 Index of DMS content (49.52 fmol cell -1 < / sup > ) 3.2 times . DMSP and DMS release within the unit cell content with increasing salinity increased , decreased as the temperature rises , the the Phaeocystis produced sulfur cell cycle and environmental stress -related .
