Nowadays ,in which the material and spiritual civilization of human society has been more developed ,tourism is becoming an important way to pursuit the life taste and to improve the quality of life.Since the 1950s, with the rapid development of the world economy, tourism has not only developed into the world’s largest industry, but also showed a strong momentum as the "sunrise industry ".With the vigorous development of China’s tourism industry, the growth of tourism in Chongqing has brought considerable economic benefits and social benefits to each tourist district.However, the industrial development is often accompanied by the generation of regional differences, even the development of tourism with no exception.Because of the different development conditions in each region, Chongqing’s tourism industry is facing the problem of disequilibrium.Therefore, to study the area differentiation of Chongqing’s tourism industry, and to discuss the variation tendency of area differentiation, count much for advancing the development of Chongqing’s tourism.Now while promotion of regional coordinated development is an important strategic task in China, to study the disparity of regional tourism is very necessary.There are many literatures focus on the development differences of tourism economy between provinces, but the disparity of regional tourism in province is still under further study.This text firstly, uses the mean of local GDP ratio of tourism revenue to analyze the disparity of regional tourism economy. And the result shows the regional variations of Chongqing’s tourism industry are fairly obvious. Secondly,this article uses the methods of cluster analysis in SPSS software to analyze the development of tourism in Chongqing’s forty districts. The result divides the tourism development situation of Chongqing’s forty districts into seven classes. The first class: Yuzhong district. The second class: Wushan county, Nan’an district, Beibei district, Dazu county, Banan district. The third class: Fengjie county, Wansheng district, Wanzhou district, Jiangbei district, Qianjiang district, Wulong county, Yubei district, Youyang county, Shapingba district, The fourth class: Shizhu county, Liangping county, Fengdu county, Yongchuan district, Wuxi county, Jiulongpo district, Jiangjin district, Tongliang county, Fuling county. The fifth class: Kaixian county, Yunyang county, Pengshui county, Qijiang county, Bishan county, Changshou county. The sixth class: Hechuan district, Rongchang county, Nanchuan district, Xiushan county, Dianjiang county, Zhong county.The seventh class: Dadukou district, Shuangqiao district, Tongnan county, Chengkou county. The last, with the reference of the existing research results, according to the seven influencing factors of tourism development, which is tourist attraction, the level of economic development, government policy, human capital, geographic conditions, the infrastructure and tourism facilities, this text offers the countermeasure and advices which is promoted the healthy, balanced, sustainable development of the seven classes areas in Chongqing’s forty districts.
