Correlation between Expression of Maspin and Bax with Efficacy of Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy for Cervical Carcinoma

Abstract


[Objective] maspin before and after NACT through clinical observation and detection of cervical cancer and bax expression, to investigate the the maspin and bax protein expression and changes with NACT sensitivity, efficacy and clinical pathological factors correlation. Looking for a new indicator of prediction the chemosensitivity and evaluation of the efficacy of chemotherapy for cervical cancer NACT, to improve chemosensitivity, thereby reducing due to the chemotherapy drug resistance led to the chemotherapy ineffective or invalid chemotherapy, and the delay in surgery and radiotherapy. [Method] collected 30 cases of cervical carcinoma before and after Ⅰ a ~ Ⅲ b cervical cancer patients NACT, while select 30 cases of normal cervical tissue for the same period. With immunohistochemical LSAB method maspin before and after cervical cancer NACT and bax expression analysis both in the expression and changes before and after cervical cancer NACT NACT sensitivity, efficacy and clinical pathological factors correlation. [Results] (1) NACT maspin positive expression rate in cervical cancer than in the normal control group significantly reduced, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (p lt; 0.01). (2) cervical cancer NACT clinical efficacy, 25 patients NACT effective, the overall response rate was 83.3% (25/30), clinical complete remission in 36% (9/25), partial remission in 64% (16/25) stable or no progress, 16.7% (5/30). (3) before and after different clinical efficacy group NACT maspin and bax expression in cervical cancer: clinical complete remission group maspin and bax positive rate after NACT NACT before, the difference was not statistically significant (p gt; 0.05); clinical partial remission group NACT compared before maspin and of bax positive rate of NACT also significantly increased, the difference was statistically significant (p lt; 0.01); maspin and of bax positive rate of NACT was no clinically stable and progressive group NACT significant changes, the difference was not statistically significant (P gt; 0.05). (4) in different clinical stages and clinical classification group maspin and bax expression compared to the situation: Ⅱ b-Ⅲ b stage group NACT of maspin and bax positive rate before and after comparison, the difference was statistically significant (p lt; 0.05), of NACT before and after I b the maspin and bax positive rate, - Ⅱ a group difference was not statistically significant (p gt; 0.05). Maspin in cervical cancer NACT before and after different clinical classification group difference was not statistically significant (p gt; 0.05). After high school differentiation group NACT bax positive expression rate than NACT before improved significantly, the difference was statistically significant (P lt; 0.01), poorly differentiated group NACT before and after the positive expression rate of bax was no statistical significance (p gt; 0.05) . Maspin (5) NACT after cervical cancer tissue and bax positive expression relationship: maspin expression in cervical cancer positive, negative bax positive expression rate of 90% (18/20), 30% (3/10) The difference was statistically significant (P lt; 0.01). Cue cervical cancer tissues the maspin and bax expression was consistency. (6) NACT maspin and bax expression in cervical carcinoma after analysis showed that: of maspin and bax expression before and after chemotherapy showed a positive correlation (before chemotherapy, r = 0.196, p gt; 0.05; chemotherapy after r = 0.617, p lt; 0.01). [Conclusion] (1) arterial infusion NACT efficacy significantly, while cis-Perot based chemotherapy, the effect is obvious, the recent good clinical efficacy, is an effective method of treatment of cervical cancer. (2) the speculated naspin and bax may be as sensitive indicators of the evaluation of cervical cancer NACT. Observed of NACT before maspin and bax positive expression rate the higher the better NACT. (3) the high expression of maspin and bax as cervical cancer patients NACT treatment of a screening indicators and criteria. Future clinical cases of cervical cancer NACT selection and further improve the efficacy of NACT has important guiding significance.
