Abstract


This paper reviews the volatile organic compounds in air (VOCs) in Research. Highlights at home and abroad VOCs in indoor and outdoor air pollution status, sources of VOCs profiles and the extent of human exposure and health risk assessment; brief description of the VOCs in the air collection, pre-treatment methods and analytical methods. Establishment of indoor and outdoor air Trace BTEX (BTEX) sampling and analysis methods. The use of small size, low noise sampler, built 20 to 50 mesh granular activated carbon adsorption in the air sampling tubes collected benzene, carbon disulfide desorption, the flame ionization detector (FID) gas chromatography in the air six kinds of representative of BTEX. The method sampling device is small, low noise, easy to operate; convenient sample pretreatment and high recovery; Sample assay, high sensitivity, good selectivity, repeatable analysis; suitable for indoor and outdoor air in the sampling and analysis of BTEX. Hangzhou investigated eight different areas newly renovated family representative indoor air pollution status of BTEX was found in Hangzhou families BTEX in indoor air pollution is more serious. This collection and analysis of these eight families BTEX in indoor air pollution status, source and its influencing factors. Measured concentration of benzene in indoor air is 0.05 ~ 0.77mg / m 3 , the concentration of toluene was 0.01 ~ 1.19mg / m 3 , xylene concentration of 0.02 ~ 0.61mg / m 3 , the total concentration of BTEX was 0.11 ~ 2.57mg / m 3 ; BTEX pollution is very serious, much higher than the U.S., Europe and Japan, the measured results . Decorated home indoor air concentration of toluene total BTEX accounted for 50% or more, which comes mainly from the interior decoration of the adhesive used in the process; benzene and xylene mainly from indoor decorative paints and paint chemicals. In June 2000, July 2001 and October 2001, Hangzhou, a comparative study of ambient air concentrations of BTEX and seasonal trends, the results show that in July 2001 in the six kinds of urban air BTEX average concentration of 37.96 ~ 222.55μg / m 3 , was significantly higher than in June 2000 the measured value (30.78 ~ 196.54μg / m 3 ); 2001 年 7 月 air BTEX total of 104.72μg / m 3 , is the 2000 indoor and outdoor air pollution situation BTEX and sources of research abstracts in June to 1.5 times the door 0.79twin Diao, benzene homologue pollution worsening trend. In 2001, the sampling points of BTEX concentrations in the air for the summer> autumn, the same trends and temperature changes. In all sampling points were higher than the concentration of benzene, toluene concentration of benzene in the highest value, indicating that the ambient air in Hangzhou, the main source of BTEX child motor vehicle exhaust emissions.
