Abstract


The textile industry is a traditional pillar industries in Tianjin, has made a great contribution to the economic development of Tianjin. But in recent years there has been unprecedented difficulties and problems, and how the industry has become a major issue we have to face. On the basis of market research, the comprehensive competitiveness of the textile industry in Tianjin, the qualitative and quantitative analysis, and strive to enable people to have a surface understanding of Tianjin Textile Industry Status, and accession to the WTO will likely produce do fully prepared. I start from the textile comprehensive concept of competitiveness and depth, through the analysis of the current situation of China's textile industry, China's textile industry has comparative advantage and existing problems. The same time, the opportunities and challenges facing China's textile industry after WTO accession. In this paper, using qualitative and quantitative methods focus on the overall economic strength of the Tianjin Textile systematic analysis and comparison. The application of multivariate statistical analysis of the data processing method to determine the index system, a comparative analysis of the country's 31 provinces and cities in the 2000 data using principal component analysis, the first principal component as a measure of the overall economic strength of a region view . Factor analysis of the change in trend of the Ninth Five-Year Plan \This avoids usually only based on a subjective assessment method to determine the weights of index system inaccuracies, both take into account the importance of the indicators from the subjective, and also take into account the various indicators of the amount of information from the objectivity, making assessment weight index system more rational and effective. In addition, combined with computer applications in the statistical analysis, but also developed a simple full principal component analysis algorithm statistical software. The analysis results show that: (1) in appropriately selected indicators, using principal component analysis, the first principal component as a measure of the overall economic strength of a region, the formula has a stable coefficient and the results are reliable and credible: (2) the main component of the graph (Figure 3) has a strong intuitive sense, features and similarity of provinces and cities have very clearly demonstrated, this is a useful analytical tool; (3) factor analysis can be used as a time-series data empirical analysis of its results objectively and comprehensively reflects the trend of the development of the textile industry in Tianjin and the movements causes. Above on the basis of a comprehensive and in-depth qualitative and quantitative analysis, the author emphasizes the Tianjin Textile Industry in which the status of the national economy as a whole in Tianjin and its development advantages, combined with the actual situation in Tianjin, innovation, structural adjustment, development of green textiles, the use of IT in four aspects, and put forward countermeasures and suggestions to improve the comprehensive competitiveness of Otsu textile.
