Objective : Herbal Enema therapy after laparoscopic surgery for endometriosis patients, to improve pregnancy and reduce the relapse rateMethods: 73 patients met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into three groups: control group 23 cases, 26 cases of retention-enema group (7 days after medication, treatment for 3 months), gestrinone 24 cases ( 7 days after drug treatment for 6 months), after every 3 months later a second, to observe the symptoms, signs, pregnancy and recurrence, all patients were followed for 12 months after surgery。Results:1. Pregnancy:The cumulative pregnancy rate after one year 58% of Chinese Medicines, western medicine group 29%, 26% of the control group, Chinese group and western medicine group and the control group the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05)。Western group and the control group the difference was not statistically significant (p> 0.05)。2. Recurrence : Chinese medicine, there were 2 cases of recurrence, 8%; western medicine group, three cases of recurrence, 13%; the two groups showed no significant (P>0.05)。Control group, 9 patients relapsed, 39%, and traditional Chinese medicine group, western medicine group differences were statistically significant (P <0.05)。3. Quality of Life:The traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine group showed no significant difference (p>0.05), traditional Chinese medicine group, Western group and the control group there was significant difference (P <0.05)。4. Adverse reactions: Chinese medicine during the treatment group to examine the liver, renal function abnormalities, one case of mild diarrhea to tolerance, drug-free period of amenorrhea; western medication group gained weight during the 3 cases, returned to normal after treatment, four cases of mild transaminase degree increased rapidly after oral administration of drugs to restore normal liver protection, amenorrhea during the treatment, after treatment 1 to 3 months to recover。Two groups of adverse reactions was 3.8% and 29%, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05)。Conclusion: chinese medicine can keep an enema to pregnancy rate, decreases a relapse rate, without reaction, it is worth being popularized in clinical otolaryngology。
