Objective:Bahavior clinical observation and treatment of VD cases against ischemia-reperfusion in mice study Bahavior treatment of vascular dementia in clinical efficacy and mechanism.METHODS:The clinical observation:collection of 60 cases meet the standard VD were randomly divided into treatment group and control group 30 cases observed. The control group was treated with Hydergine tablets, oral treatment group Bahavior soups. The clinical efficacy were observed before and after treatment of daily living and safety comparative evaluation, statistical analysis and evaluation. Study:Using repeated ligation of bilateral carotid artery occlusion in mice blood, prepared by ischemia reperfusion model was established successfully randomly divided into sham operation group, model group, brain-Soviet high dose group, low dose Naolisu Group, Western Hydergine Group 5 Group, for continuous 15 days after the end of treatment the general situation in mice, and neurological function; mice were killed and brains were removed, made 10% solution of brain homogenate of cerebral Nerve growth factor (NGF) level; colorimetric determination of serum glutathione peroxidase (GSH-PX) levels.Results:The clinical observation:1, clinical effects:treatment group,30 cases of clinical control in 3 cases,12 cases markedly effective in 14 cases,1 patient, the total effective rate 96.7%; control group of 30 patients, clinical control 1 patients, significantly improved 9 cases, effective 16 cases,4 cases, total effective rate 86.7%; the total efficiency of significant difference (P<0.05), that the treatment group than the control group.2, the two groups before and after treatment using mini mental state examination (MMSE) and activities of daily living form (ADL) between the two groups suggest:the treatment group than the control group. Experimental study:ischemia-reperfusion in mice fed Naolisu treatment, body weight has been restored, the situation neurological deficits improved to varying degrees, the high dose group on the restoration of body weight Youyu Hydergine western group (hereinafter referred to Western group) and brain nerve growth factor (NGF) and serum GSH-PX increased significantly.Conclusion:Clinical observations confirm Bahavior vascular dementia have better effect. Experiments confirmed Bahavior treatment of vascular dementia as effective drug, with the promotion of ischemia-reperfusion in mice and in patients with vascular dementia some role in recovery of neurological function, the mechanism may be related to increased levels of NGF associated with the GSH-PX.
