Objective: acupuncture theory as a guide , \the efficacy and safety of the electric needle point in the treatment of PTSD scientific evaluation , which filter out the advantage of acupuncture treatment of PTSD treatment programs , and provide a new method for the clinical and secondary prevention of PTSD . Methods: completely randomized , controlled clinical study , the control group setting the electric needle point in the treatment group and western medicine ( paroxetine ) , the ratio of the number of the two groups of patients is 1:1 , will meet the diagnostic criteria for PTSD , 138 patients were randomly points to the treatment and control groups , each group sample size of 69 patients . Treatment group , for 12 weeks of treatment , a total of 36 times . Control group, paroxetine 20 mg , per night orally once a row to take 12 weeks of uninterrupted rest . Before treatment , treatment for 6 weeks , 12 weeks , 3 months after the end of treatment , 6 - month follow - up , Hamilton Depression Rating Scale ( HAMD ) ; Hamilton Anxiety Scale ( HAMA ) three clinical monitoring PTSD Scale ( CAPS ) ; scale to evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of the treatment of the clinical evaluation , treatment side effects scale ( TESS ) , and the data for statistical analysis . Results: The treatment group and the control group in improving the clinical symptoms of PTSD patients have significant effect ( P lt ; 0.05 ) ; Comparison of efficacy of the treatment group and the control group : two groups of patients with CAPS , HAMD , HAMA total score change was no significant difference ( P gt ; 0.05 ) , two groups of patients with CAPS , HAMD , HAMA less changes in the fraction more significant difference ( P lt ; 0.05 ) Conclusion: electric needle hole and taking the medicine paroxetine are effective therapies for the treatment of PTSD , electro-acupuncture treatment of PTSD security is better than drug group . In this study, for the selection of the electro-acupuncture treatment of PTSD treatment provides a scientific basis .
