The rapid development of VLSI , so more and more people consider the use of circuit module has been designed to accelerate the system design, that design reuse problem . With the growth in the number of reusable modules , search, and allocation of reusable modules are also becoming increasingly complex. How to choose the right components to achieve the system chip design is one of the major problems currently facing . Improvements proposed herein polynomial model symbol method can solve this problem to some extent . It can combinational and sequential circuits bit-level description of the design specifications expressed as word-level polynomials . This approach helps polynomial model simplification . For sequential circuits , through the establishment of an equivalent combination of circuit theory can also be solved , but the process is very complex, this article only do some simple discussion . This improved method using a polynomial model to establish the circuit , then use the Grbner Basis element matching the theory can solve the problem . First we calculate the component library generated polynomial representation of the ideal , and then find the ideal Grbner Basis. Since the existing serial matching algorithm performing polynomial decomposition , the time complexity is too high , so this article in the shared memory multiple instruction stream multiple data stream MIMD programming model , we propose a parallel algorithm . The two aspects of parallel algorithms from the original algorithm parallelization . On the one hand is based on the grouping strategy coarse-grained parallel algorithm , the other is fine-grained parallelism simplification algorithms. Subsequent string and the complexity of the two algorithms are analyzed and compared. Next, the algorithm also noted areas for further improvement . Finally, the paper concludes .
