Abstract


The era of the Middle Ages is a belief and a closely linked, and the Christian era expound doctrine and faithful service to the Church . However, the Middle Ages is such an era : the city and territory gradually expand and shape, the formation of the first academic center in the monastery . Beginning in the late 12th century , the construction of a comprehensive university that promote the spread and development of the academic . Along with this is the large number of manuscripts, books depict and production . Manuscripts with a hand-painted drawings and polychrome books the excerpt supplemented select the text of the Bible written on parchment . During those exquisite polychrome miniature illustrations , also known as miniature paintings , drawn from all over the facilities multicolored extremely rigorous and meticulous attitude handmade ornaments to decorative gilt painted silver occasionally . Manuscript purported image interpretation of the Bible teachings , the integration of the various life scenes depicting the theme of realism naturalism in the late Middle Ages , the International Gothic style under the influence of the religious manuscripts fixed to the transformation of a single religious symbol to bear by the function Qijie . This thesis, by way of explanation of the principles of the image , the manuscripts of the late medieval painting to illustrate the development and evolution of the art of this period of religious symbols in the process , and tried to explore the significance of the principles of image and of the future affect painting development .
