Abstract


In the unique Tibetan culture, women are regarded as the creator of the world, the mother of the earth, the patron saint of snowy Tibetan. Image of women in Tibetan buddhist deities dhamma is the understanding of externalization, with women's noble, gentle, and sacred symbol meaning, influence and inspire followers. With other buddhist countries and regions of male domination of the image, the image of female deities of Tibetan Buddhism has not only numerous, but also have high status. Painting art of Tibetan Buddhism in Ming dynasty is relatively mature theory, technique, at the same time, the translation of buddhist scriptures and the research also obtained great development, the symbol of female deities sculptures source recorded clear text. Therefore, this article through to the Tibetan Buddhism in Ming dynasty painting visual expression and symbol of the female images of specific analysis, discussion of female beauty to Tibetan Buddhism painting, traces the female view of Tibetan Buddhism thoughts origin and value orientation, and interpretation of female deity belief in Tibetan Buddhism because of the complicated cultural connotation of women, in order to add new images of Tibetan Buddhism research perspective and content.
