Abstract


The theory of personality (Trait theory) is a theory of personality traits based on the concept established the theory of personality as composed of many different qualities, personality traits as the basic unit. A trait is a personality dimension, it is based on certain characteristics shown by the extent of classification. Personality traits are common to all people, but are vastly different characteristics of each person portfolio, which formed the personality differences between people. Characteristics (traits) is seen as a lasting and stable behavioral tendencies of the individual, the individual to respond to stimuli on the relatively consistent manner. Therefore, the understanding of a person's personality can predict their behavior and reaction. Trait factor theory under the guidance of the British psychologist cartel, using stratified cluster sampling method, using the general questionnaire and cartels 16 Personality Factor Questionnaire (16PF), conducted a questionnaire of 292 medical undergraduates investigation. The results showed that: 1, Medical Undergraduates' structure in terms of gender, urban or rural students, whether for scholarships there are significant differences. Girls PubMed higher than boys. Graduate Entrance Test of rural students is higher than urban students won scholarships Graduate Entrance higher than won a scholarship student; When Over-class cadre of students PubMed higher than not when the students of the class cadre. 2, PubMed success and the PubMed failure medical students in personality traits were significantly different. PubMed successful students in intelligence, openness, stability score higher than students taking tests to fail, and fail PubMed Shiqiang, tension, skeptical, fantasy, sophisticated, anxiety score below students. 3, personality traits and performance in school the PubMed success or failure of medical students have some predictive ability. Using factor analysis, the resulting impact PubMed success factors were suspect, openness, tension, sensitivity, self-discipline, independence, sophistication, responsibility, intelligence, whether on scholarship and whether served as student leaders, other factors had little effect. PubMed affect a major factor in the success of a non-intellectual factors. This suggests that, PubMed screening personality factors participate in the study section of students, we can predict the results. An early stage of Students' Personality factors quotient of shaping and training, will help improve student achievement and admission rate.
