Abstract


Since the birth of the use of color in traditional sculpture , from sculpture will be no interruption to study the characteristics of traditional Chinese sculpture art , color is one aspect can not be ignored . Through a combination of sculpture body , the traditional colors of the unique features of the language and manifestations . With the deepening development of traditional sculpture , traditional colors form a valuable resource . In modern times, the development of traditional sculpture quickly Weidun due to the occurrence of faults , the traditional sculpture color language are based on folk art sculpture preserved as a carrier , but very little relationship with Chinese modern sculpture . Since the early eighties of the last century , Art ideological emancipation modern sculpture style diversification , as well as cause sculpture localization rational thinking on modern Western artistic concepts discussed in these contexts , some of the field of Chinese contemporary sculpture phenomenon traditional sculpture color to express contemporary themes . This paper focuses on a study this phenomenon in two ways to explore the relationship between the traditional the sculpture color with modern sculpture in creative practice . The one hand , from the language of the traditional sculpture color characteristics and manifestations can be modern sculpture reference space , combined with the background conditions for this phenomenon , discusses the two collide integration trend . On the other hand , through the analysis of modern sculpture draws on traditional sculpture color , discusses the impact of this phenomenon to traditional of color sculpture and contemporary sculpture and successful reference case to explore how to reflect the national character in the the modern coloring sculpture in and inherited the problems of the development of traditional sculpture color .
