Abstract


In the modern society, as the developing of concept art and the broadening of people’s horizon, students of art department are greatly affected due to the lacking of proper discrimination. They spend more time and energy on ingratiate trend, it is undoubtedly that the basic skill of art is weak on the whole. Students can not grasp the nature and core of the language of traditional western oil painting because they have not constructed correct concept oil.This paper includes three parts. The first part, based on constructing correct realistic oil painting, emphasizes the correct identification of the externality of oil painting through analyzing the development situation of realistic oil painting and the challenge faced by oil painting after being introduced into China. The second part, practically, analyzes the normal problems existed in basic practice of sketching and incorrect property resulting in the lack of color identification, etc. The third part, the key point of the paper, discusses how to develop correct means for inspection and painting, including the inspection of awareness; cultivation of holistic thinking; correct recognition of the beauty attribute of oil painting; changing the fixed mental tendency and constructing such painting concept as space, volume, structure and color tune; the cultivation of painting interest, emphasizing "sketch" in painting and remaining fresh sense. At last, the paper researches into how to improve self-aesthetic standards and artistic accomplishments by the objective base and beauty inspiration in nature.This paper make the theory and practice in close contact, by means of the painting skill and teaching theory of Professor Zhou Dazheng as entry point, practically illustrating how to own solid basic skill of painting.
