Abstract


Fujian Putian Meizhou Island is the hometown of Mazu , and is also the birthplace of Mazu culture , the local folk , Mazu belief is the most common and most devout of a folk belief . Mazu belief and Matsu folk are Jifu Matsu cultural manifestations . Belief in Mazu is the world's intangible cultural heritage, the Mazu festival music and dance it's an important part of protection and heritage value . Meizhou Island Mazu festival music and dance as the core content on the basis of research during field folk songs , from a cultural point of view , the use of a literature analysis, feature extraction method of the fieldwork method , dance, ecology , folklore narrative method and dance morphological method combining an integrated approach to analyze the formation of a the Mazu culture and Matsu festival music and dance ; then in real Fujian Meizhou Mazu festival music and dance ceremony , on the basis of objective record , summarizes the Mazu festival music and dance dance performance characteristics ; and its cultural connotations and social and cultural functions were discussed. So as to reveal the the Mazu festival music and dance of the social significance .
