Abstract


In this paper, for the January 1, 2007 to 31 December 2009 , the China Youth image analysis on the three major French newspaper media , \First, the theme of the three major French newspapers, the media reported China Youth quantitative analysis , we obtained three newspapers reported the common theme of the Chinese youth . Secondly , on the basis of quantitative analysis , qualitative analysis focused on the analysis of the content of the article . The Tropes of this tool devoted to an analysis of the content of the article , and help us to be more scientific and objective analysis of the three newspaper articles on the common theme of the China Youth . Chinese youth in the performance of the three major French newspaper media image : Chinese youth have a strong sense of patriotism ; We can also find that the negative image of Chinese youth in France ; addition , three work in different areas , but have gained success in China the young man by the three major French newspaper concern . According to the first chapter of the theory expounded , \Our results show that the stereotype of Chinese youth have three characteristics: First, the majority of the French newspaper article that Chinese youth is angry youth ; performance against the stereotype of Chinese youth in France for them is always difficult to integrate into French society ; Jia Zhangke , Liu Xiang , reciting French reporter elected representatives of the China Youth . In fact , the stereotype is inevitable in cross - cultural communication , its role in the Sino-French cross - cultural communication is twofold . The one hand , the stereotype may cause both misunderstanding or prejudice ; stereotype , on the other hand, can promote both cross - cultural communication .
