Abstract


Mobile Personal Computer ( called Notebook PC) research and manufacture is a high technical industry; it brings most social effect and economic benefit because of the portable advantage. In the meantime, the benefit and risk of the industry is concomitant. If the corporations don’t know what is the consumer need and how to choose the right technical strategy, they will miss out the profit and survive persistently.The product is the key of profit increase and development for a corporation. The technical development and innovation is the one of character of corporation survival. It represents the energy. Because the life cycle of IT product is short and substitute rapidly, the drastic market competition make the technical strategy as a important strategy question. And that choosing right technical strategy will help corporation to gain the market share and the competitive advantage. Technical strategy links technical research and market development, it aims to win the most value.Now, the foreign famous-brand Notebook manufacturers hold the great mass of domestic market quotient now, the growing Notebook market absorbs domestic manufacturers, but these manufacturers must face to the huge challenge in the market competition.Basing on the backgrounds of TCL Notebook computer operation, and making use of the theoretical knowledge and combined analysis of quantitative and qualitative, the thesis analyzes the market status and technology development strategy of Chinese notebook computer, The emphases researches TCL how to improve market competition power by technology innovation and the choice of technology development strategy in the disadvantageous environment.
