Abstract


A session is the main form of everyday communication. Whether in English or in Chinese, meaning can be expressed in a session is divided into two: the speaker say the words and sentences that express the literal meaning and speaker implicitly expressed through language meaning. Transfer the contents of the session can be divided into two areas: the content and straightforward to say implicitly implicitly expressed content. American language philosopher Grice will this implication is called \People's everyday conversation often with overtones, this implication is not a general semantic theory can explain, pragmatic analysis needs to be done. Grice put forward the principles of cooperation and the establishment of quantity, quality, relation and manner standards-based session implication generation or derivation mechanism. Cooperative principles and guidelines although the use of the imperative form, which is described on people rather than actual behavior norms, these principles and guidelines in people's subconscious long time. Although the principle of cooperation can effectively explain what the literal meaning and implications of the relationship between, but can not explain why people want to violate the principles of cooperation in an indirect, subtle ways to express ideas, for communication. To compensate for this deficiency, Leech proposed the principles of politeness and politeness principle into decent, generous, praise, humility, consistency, compassion six guidelines. Leech considered polite cooperation has a higher level than the regulatory role, it maintains the equal status of both communicative and friendly relations. No manners this premise, the normal communication can not proceed smoothly. In order to maintain politeness principle, people sometimes sacrifice the principles of cooperation. Cooperative Principle and Politeness Principle is pragmatics an important principle involved. The two principles together, coordinated operation, to ensure that people verbal communication harmonious and smooth. In this paper, two playwright Cao Yu and classic works of Lao She, select the character dialogue, combined with the cooperative principle and politeness principle, the principle of which is how the two pragmatic role in Chinese dramatic dialogue in the process of deducing the meaning of the session. Through the above theoretical discourse and corpus analysis, this paper aims to clarify the following points: Session verbal communication is the meaning of a common phenomenon in people's daily interactions play an important role. The Cooperative Principle and Politeness Principle is the combination of Chinese literature, especially drama sessions meaning an effective way.
