Abstract


Tourism is a kind of spiritual and physical activity of human and it is the creature of the certain age. Tourism is the sunrise industry of the world , it is taken seriously and it has a rapid development in our controuy. The growing investment caused the competition of regions. The theory of competitive is a kind of economic theory rose in the 1980s. The theory has a extensive use for it is in tune with the trend of research method of economy.The paper wants to perfect the application of the competitive theory in tourism, and try to find the way for tourism competitiveness analysis. The paper has a demonstrable study about regional tourism, and has a analysis in the term of tourism competitiveness, then the advice is given. The study mainly covers the theories of competitiveness, economy, tourism and the related industries. The main ways of study are investigating and analytic hierarchy process.The structure and the main content of the paper are follows: The first chapter reviewed the domestic and foreign research and analysised the background of the tourism competitiveness study, then propounded the structure of the paper. The second chapter discussed the theoretical base about tourism, systematology, economy, geography, psychology and so on. The third chapter evaluates the regional tourism industry from.three aspects and selects the secondary indicator to construct the indicator system of regional tourist competitiveness and the value of the indicator is settled. The system included 10 secondary indicators and 30 thirdary indicators. The forth and the fifth chapter made a analysis about the situation of the tourism competing power of Pearl River Delta. The forth chapter evaluated the 9 cities of Pearl River Delta from four aspects and made the rank. The fifth chapter put forward strategy about the tourism competing power of Pearl River Delta integrated with the author’ s perceptual knowledge. The sixth chapter is the conclusion of the paper.
