Abstract


At present China is at a crucial developmental stage of the social and nation. During thisperiod, the speed and degree of development is essential to the role and the status she actedand occupied in the new world pattern in the new century. Therefore, it’s an importantproblem for Chinese Government to keep the social as well as the politics steady. Andmeanwhile, the foremost factor influencing the steady of politics at present is the corruption,especially power corruption in the political field.The power corruption has not only destroyed the social steady, influenced the process ofreform, but also endangered the order that the market distributes its resources. What’s more,corruption can’t form people’s highly acceptance to the government, and it also belittle thepolitical prestige of the party in power. Thus, its legitimacy is queried, too. James·Harringtonhas said that a government’s corruption means the birth of another government. The seriouscorruption of government will even cut off the development of politics, such as the extinctionof Dynasty Qing, the collapsing of the government of Indonesian Suharto, Quan Touhuan andLu Taiyu of S. Korea,ect .Those all have direct associations with corruption. The history andreality force us to face it straightly without escaping.All the nations will meet severe challenges. Challenges stem from the system defect.During the period of society and market transition, the severity of the challenges is nearly indirect proportion to the degree of the system defect. Prospecting the present corruption, it isclearly seen that power corruption is closely linked with the drawbacks of the systems.Therefore it is an important and urgent task to set up an effective power operating mechanismof anti-corruption to prevent corruption at present.Poet Huiterman has sung that “there is corpse and stone in the road, it is time to movethem away.”in " song of main road " Since the cause of corruption is not single, it determinesthe pluralism of the corruption solving. The power corruption is deviation from to the powerview of Marxism, and it is profanity of state and public power. In the course of constructionof the current well-off society, we must look for the countermeasures from the social andpolitical and economic environment of the power operation to root out the power corruption.In doing that we must constantly find the source, cure the base, erase the soil that thecorruption is breeding in. After all, we must lay a solid foundation to realize honest politicsthat is the author’s purpose and meaning to select this subject.
