Abstract


This thesis pretends to analyze Import and Export flows and its consequences, as well as the strategies and politics used by China and Colombia to increment, diversify and search new comercial areas and analyze products that have comercial space between both countries. Basically, it is pretended to develop what has been the tendency of Colombian enterprises that are looking for comercial associates in China to try to analyze what will be the evolution of such enterprises: Will they continue investing in China? Moreover, we would also try to sketch what will the evolution of Chinese investment in Colombia: Will Colombia become a receiver country of Chinese investments? In case it is that way, which sectors have the most probability to attract Chinese investment?One of the incentives that has carried me to elaborate the present study comes from my present occupation as a student of Specialization in Administration of Enterprises in P.R. of China. As such, I have to say that there has been notice in a high interest of commercialization of Colombian products towards China and that there has been findings of a high interest from P.R. of China to the increment of Direct Ivestment towards Latin America and in this stated case, towards Colombia. It is also noticed that the comercial balance is unfavorable to Colombia with respect with its relations with P.R of China. It is because of this reason that I would like to analyze and attempt to bring up some of the factors that have been determinant, and what are the relations going to be in comercial terms in the following existing years between Colombia and P.R. of China. Of course, another incentive that has carried me to choose this subject has been the fact that it deals with what is happening in the present and for that, I hope is of vast interest for many.
