Abstract


Since the reform and opening up , the high input of physical capital to promote China's rapid economic growth , institutional innovation and economic restructuring to promote China 's high growth but also to some extent , but compared with developed countries , China's technological progress and human capital to economic the role of growth driven by growth . The experience of developed countries shows that education can improve the stock of human capital and accelerate technological progress to economic growth have a positive impact modern economic growth is increasingly relying on human capital and technological progress . Point of view but from the investment in education in recent years , the proportion of China's education expenditure as a percentage of GDP, compared with international standards , there is a great gap between the education of low-input seriously restricted the development of our human resources and technological progress . Of capital , labor , and resources relative lack of human resources -rich countries to increase investment in education can accelerate the speed of China 's human resources development , improve the stock of human capital , and promote China 's technological progress , in order to achieve high-speed economic growth . In this paper, the empirical analysis of the role of education in economic growth in China , come to the conclusion of insufficient education on the contribution of rapid economic growth . Explore through the summary of the international experience of developed countries and China's future economic growth factors , the authors believe that education is the driving force to promote China's future economic growth , and the degree of development of human resources is the key to the ability to achieve high-speed growth , and therefore increase investment in education the future to achieve rapid economic growth in the anchor . This logic system : investment in education - the increase in the stock of human capital - technological progress - economic growth .
