Abstract


With the development of information technology , enterprise departments universal implementation of a management information system, which greatly improved the operational efficiency of enterprises , enhance the competitiveness of enterprises . Along with the increasing amount of data , which calls for senior managers to provide integrated and historical data . However, due to the management information system of their own limitations , it is not possible to provide strong support for the decision - making . How to use the data in the information systems of the various departments , with senior executives to be related to the decision analysis , this issue is becoming increasingly important . A data warehouse is a suitable for data organization and management techniques of decision analysis to provide decision-making analytical data . The data in the data warehouse is a subject-oriented, integrated, time features , stable data collection , to support decision-making . Extract relevant data from the traditional database management systems , cleaning , conversion build a data warehouse , you can establish a separate analysis of decision-making application environment to support corporate decision-making . This article describes the basics of data warehouse and decision analysis features , support , technology and architecture . And to Port management platform system as an example of a traditional database management system on the basis of how to build a data warehouse and decision analysis model for business decision support .
