Abstract


Paper, based on the surfactant by adjusting the type and concentration of the silica -induced regulation of water evaporation assembly of nanoparticles , while the surfactant adsorption of silica nanoparticles made ??of. First, we studied the non-ionic surfactant Tween 80 in adsorption of the silica nanoparticles . Isotherms illustrate this adsorption adsorption of the LS-type dual-platform . When in low concentrations , Tween 80 to form a monomolecular adsorbed on the surface of the silica nanoparticles quickly reached saturation monolayer ; continue to increase the concentration of Tween 80 and more molecules can be adsorbed , Thus appeared the first adsorption platform ; when more than a certain concentration level ( defined as the smc), Tween 80 starts with the beginning of a molecular monolayer as the center of the half way micelles adsorbed on the surface of the silica nanoparticles , Tween 80 adsorption time increased dramatically , up until the last layer structure similar to the saturated adsorption , adsorption of a second platform . Then we studied the anionic surfactant sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate (SDBS) and Tween 80/SDBS the silica nanoparticles adsorption , found that as the hydrophilic end of SDBS and two under neutral conditions negatively charged silica are produced repulsive little adsorption on silica . We detected through contact angle hydrophobic silica hydrosol droplets evaporate water slide at room temperature in the process . Combining microscopy and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and other means , we observed the formation of droplets will evaporate coffee ring, but containing different surfactant droplets of coffee ring size and number are different, we accordance with various surfactants HLB value , and the commandment of the gas-liquid interface on a variety of systems is analyzed. Inside the droplet after drying the silica and Tween 80 / silica system is also formed a relatively flat structure, and SDBS / Tween 80 / silica system there Bénard convection due to irregular multi-connection structures.
