Abstract

Objective : Diabetic nephropathy (diabetic nephropathy, DN) is a the diabetic chronic microvascular complication of persistent proteinuria in clinical practice for more than 500 mg/24 hours and associated with diabetic retinopathy without other kidney disorders can be diagnosed DN . DN early clinical manifestations of microalbuminuria and associated with high blood sugar , high blood pressure, smoking and high cholesterol . With the incidence of diabetes increased year by year , and the incidence of people of a younger age , the incidence of diabetic nephropathy number is increasing every year . Rosiglitazone (RSG) belonging to the thiazolidinedione the TZDs ( TZDs) , is a novel oral anti-diabetic drugs , these drugs by binding to and activation of a nuclear transcription factor peroxisome activator by body (PPAR-γ) and play a role in enhancing insulin sensitivity . They can reduce insulin resistance and free fatty acid levels . In recent years, found that there are independent of the role of the insulin sensitizer / hypoglycemic outside directly protect the kidney , the role of cell proliferation and hypertrophy . Metformin to lower blood sugar by increasing peripheral tissue glucose uptake and inhibition of gluconeogenesis and glycogenolysis pathways . In addition , metformin still have lower insulin levels , increased insulin sensitivity , buck , and improve the role of induced the atherosclerotic lipid phase to improve the hemodynamic and vascular smooth muscle contraction and relaxation , it is for patients with type 2 diabetes microvascular risk factors have certain beneficial effects . Therefore , the study by feeding a high-calorie diet and small doses by intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin (STZ ) to establish a rat model of type 2 diabetes with IR and were given RSG, metformin treatment , based on observation insulin resistance change of the relevant factors , and to explore the pathogenesis of DN clarify RSG with two
