Objective : To investigate the rate of diabetic patients with pancreatic cancer , the detection of pancreatic cancer patients with diabetes mellitus insulin , C- peptide levels and blood glucose , analysis of diabetes and its epidemiological characteristics analysis to understand the major risk factors for pancreatic cancer , diabetes clear whether pancreatic cancer risk factors. Methods: A case control study on 721 cases of pancreatic cancer diabetes rates , family history of diabetes and a family history of pancreatic cancer to investigate and hospitalized with the same period of 1887 cases of non- cancer patients were compared. Detected in some cases blood glucose, insulin , C- peptide levels . Results: The rate of diabetes in patients with pancreatic cancer by 14.15% . Pancreatic cancer patients with diabetes mellitus insulin , C- peptide , and blood glucose levels in patients with diabetes compared with non-tumor was no significant difference. Diabetic patients with pancreatic cancer risk , OR = 6.45 ; males OR = 6.57 , female OR = 6.25 ; those who have a family history of pancreatic cancer, pancreatic cancer , OR = 7.14 , there is a family history of diabetes, pancreatic cancer OR = 4.68 ; non- diabetic patients with a family history of pancreatic cancer, pancreatic cancer, OR = 5.14 , there is a family history of pancreatic cancer in diabetic patients with pancreatic cancer OR = 5.19 ; non-diabetic patients with a family history of diabetes, the pancreas cancer, OR = 5.41 , family history of diabetes diabetic patients with pancreatic cancer OR = 5.28 ; diabetes Cheng is 0 to 2 years suffering from pancreatic cancer , OR = 7.10 , diabetes Cheng 2 to 5 years OR values 3.27 , diabetes journey of more than 5 years OR = 8.42 . 0 to 2 years duration of diabetes patients with pancreatic cancer pancreatic cancer accounted for 72.55% of patients with diabetes mellitus . Conclusion : Diabetes may be an important risk factor for pancreatic cancer , one of diabetes duration less than 2 years , and they should be alert to possible early signs of pancreatic cancer . For pancreatic cancer, family history of diabetes or a family history of diabetes , should be strictly observed to control the disease and should be tracked in order to guard against pancreatic disease may occur .
