The nervous system is an important organizational systems of the human body , peripheral nerve injury is a common disease in the clinical , often due to trauma , disease , or surgery damage , normal motor and sensory function of its domination of the organ will be affected once the nerve damage serious and may even lead to the loss of the organ . Repair after injury is the key to determining postoperative outcome , and the suture postoperative adhesions affect the functional recovery of one of the main problems . Make the peripheral nerve anastomosis feature off injury to fully recover , we must solve the adhesion problem . In this study, 48 male and female rats were randomly divided into three groups to sciatic nerve transection , were given a different treatment as follows : simple suture ; nerves on end suture plasma membrane with PLGA and PLGA chitosan emulsification membrane surrounding the suture , after 2, 4, 6 and 8 weeks later observed by the naked eye , histological examination and electrophysiological measurement results show that both the plasma membrane and emulsified film group compared with simple suture group , good to prevent postoperative adhesions , and thereby obtain better recovery of nerve function . PLGA are the clinical application of the plasma membrane and emulsified PLGA chitosan film also provides feasibility data .
