Abstract


The scholars at all times and in all lands all describe the proper principle early. The contemporary scholars concentrate on the question that why the proper principle becomes the supreme principle of rhetoric. I think the proper principle of language mainly base on the person who speak and write. It is a kind of description of the suitability about the language expression. It is the adaptation degree of the language expression to the language environment and the influence degree to communication of the result. Therefore this article first makes my own definition to the language proper principle ; And then probe into restricting the factor with proper language, including macroscopical factors and micro factors; Analyse further that weighs the standards with proper language, the concrete background, national characteristic and region characteristic in era are as the standard; Summarize the way of the proper language finally. Expect to do a piece of explanation of globality to the proper language.This article uses the method that is compared, summed up to do systematic analysis and research to the proper language. And I try to illuminate the way of the proper language refer to the cooperative principle of Grice. That can guide us to raise our degree of the language expression. Through the analysis and research of the whole thesis, we know the clear globality of the proper language. At the same time we should see too, dynamics is the essential characteristic of the language, therefore the proper language is changes development constantly too, and not unalterable one. We will treat the proper language with the eyes of development.
