Abstract


With the wide application of landscape ecology theory in all directions and further study of urban planning based on landscape ecology planning, it’s a significant orientation of research to channel landscape ecology theory into urban tourism combining qualitative and quantitative research.However, there is few research conducted on the combination of urban tourism and landscape ecology theory now according to the present research situation and the analysis of the research framework of the landscape ecology. Only by making a descriptive model by adopting the theory of "patch-corridor-matrix", the core conception of landscape ecology, can all directions of urban tourism be explored within the research framework of landscape ecology.Beginning with the analysis of the application of the fundamental theory of landscape ecology into urban tourism, the present thesis highlights the study of the theory of "patch-corridor-matrix" and sets up the "patch-corridor-matrix" of the urban tourism space.
