The objective is focus on studying how to introduce legal idea to students’management in colleges, which will help to make management humanistic and effective, and also guarantee students’rights in college. The research on the colleges’student legal management shows us its theoretic value as well as its potential in guidance and application to current actual student management to some extent.In the first part, the relationship between colleges and students is studied by analyzing some opinions on their legal relationship, which is mainly civil and partly administrative. The content core of their legal relationship is rights and obligation. Conflict of students’management and students’rights. Use for reference on students’management of foreign country university.Besides, it is necessary for colleges to manage students according to law and build a strong legal management institution on the base of guaranteeing students’rights.In the second part, some investigation about the legal management condition is carried out in six colleges in Guangzhou, according to which, five problems are post, that is, weak legal idea for supervisors, low extent on legal management, weak legal idea for students, Students’little concern with managing in colleges, and few paths for saving students’rights.In the third part, Some feasible measures on students’legal management in colleges are brought forward, including strengthening supervisors’legal management idea, making colleges’rights reasonable, improving students’law idea, enlarging the rights on students’concern, and consummating mechanism for students to guarantee their rights.
