Electrochemically induced annealing (Electrochemically Induced Annealing, EIA) recently in metastable austenitic stainless steels newly discovered phase transition behavior of electrochemically induced annealing treatment has been found to improve the corrosion resistance of stainless steel , but there is no clear mechanism explanation. In this paper, the oil discharge gas gathering , XRD, hardness analysis and other methods , research confirms that are electrochemically induced annealing diffusion of hydrogen into the steel and cumulative process , and found that after annealing electrochemically induced martensitic transformation dehydrogenation right and hardness are not large , does not degrade electrochemically induced annealing effect ; electrochemically induced annealing hydrogen when heated simultaneously to internal and external diffusion , but the impact is limited to the depth of 100μm or less shallow , it will not cause hydrogen embrittlement . In order to electrochemically induced annealing process is used to prevent corrosion of stainless steel provided. Microhardness distribution method by using a one-dimensional non- steady-state diffusion model calculated at 80 ℃ annealing induced electrochemical hydrogen diffusion coefficient D = 0.43 × 10 -13 sup> m 2 sup> s -1 sup>. This result is consistent with the theoretical speculation , also measured by other methods of hydrogen diffusion coefficient of the same charge , that this method can be used in electrochemical hydrogen annealing induced diffusion coefficient. Also studied the initial pH of treatment medium , and the pulse width of the electrochemically induced annealing factors , the results showed that: when the treatment medium at an initial pH within the range of from 8 to 13 , pH changes on the electrochemical effects induced by annealing treatment is small . Cathode time is fixed at 280s, the anode time was 10s ~ 350s of electrochemically induced annealing treatment can significantly reduce the martensitic stainless steel surface . However, the anode of the sample time is less than 20s martensite martensite first reduction may be the result of corrosion . While the cathode time fixed 280s, 60s anode time greater than or equal specimen electrochemically induced martensite decrease was mainly the result of the annealing process .
