Abstract


King Bhumibol of Thailand has had a significant impact and enormous political prestige in Thailand politics. This paper discusses the cause of formation of King Bhumibol’s political prestige from three aspects:sovereign station to Bhumibol given by Thailand’s Constitution, the impact of Thailand’s traditional culture, the impact of Bhumibol’s individual charm. Finally, this paper analyzes the prestige King Bhumibol and the political course of Thailand. From the discussion above, we can be clear at a glance of why King Bhumibol has political prestige.
