The attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) children's neuropsychological characteristics and risk factors to provide a theoretical basis for the clinical diagnosis of ADHD and the psychological and behavioral therapy. General questionnaire, Methods homemade Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC-CR), Raven Standard Progressive Matrices Test, Achenbach Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL), Eysenck Personality Questionnaire (EPQ), Piers-Harris Children's Self- of Consciousness Scale sensory integration checklist, Family Environment Scale - Chinese version (FES-CV), Symptom Checklist (SCL-90) and children and adolescents with psychological testing software 95 ADHD children (ADHD group) and 40 normal children (control group). Results (1) ADHD group's common sense, similarities, arithmetic, vocabulary, puzzles, verbal IQ and total IQ scores than the control group, a significant difference between the groups (P lt; 0.05); intelligence unbalanced development of the ADHD group than in the control group increased significantly; the ADHD group cancellation test coarse points and scores were lower than the control group, and the the blunders points and the error rate is significantly higher; groups Raven Standard Progressive Matrices Test intelligence quotient and intelligence percentile difference was not significant ADHD group of family relations and abstract reasoning two subtests correct number of questions than the control group. (2) ADHD group, the incidence of behavioral problems (71.9%) was significantly higher than the control group (24.3%); forced ADHD in boys, hyperactivity and attack three acts occurrence rate was higher (P lt boys ; 0.05), 9 behavior factor scores were significantly higher than the control boys (P lt; 0.01): hyperactivity behavioral problems of the ADHD group of girls is higher than girls (P lt; 0.01) the incidence of depression Cruel, social withdrawal, hyperactivity, attack, delinquent behavior factor scores higher than those in the control group girls. (3) ADHD group psychoticism and neuroticism two personality dimensions standard score was significantly higher. (4) sensory integration function of the ADHD group various subtest scores were significantly lower than the control group ADHD in boys than girls in the visual space obstacles and gravity scores low, the overall sensory integration function assessment scores lower than the girls. (5) ADHD group self-awareness is generally low level of self-awareness is significantly higher than the proportion of the ADHD group, high self-awareness in the proportion of the ADHD group than the control group. In addition to the body appearance and attributes of a ADHD group the remaining self-consciousness subscale scores and total scores were lower than the control group. (6) The families of the ADHD group cohesion, informative, entertaining, organization, controlling scores were lower than the control group families contradiction score higher than the control.
