Abstract


Kidney damage caused to contain aristolochic acid in Chinese herbal medicine has caused widespread concern , and produce a certain negative impact on the application of Traditional Chinese Medicine , this study will , if left unchecked will inevitably affect the development of Chinese medicine . This article by shamisen containing aristolochic acid herbal water decoction points high , medium and low dose , respectively gavage to rats for three consecutive months , observed during urine tests, and renal biochemical indicators , and experimental observed at the end of the morphological changes of renal tissue . Found that high- dose group , middle dose group can cause changes in rat urine tests and varying degrees of renal interstitial fibrosis , tubular injury ; the low-dose group , whether it is urine testing , renal function and biochemical detection or kidney tissue morphology observed not found obvious exception . As a result, we can deduce that , shamisen herbal large doses of aristolochic acid , a long time applications can cause the rats were varying degrees of kidney damage , Pharmacopoeia within Chinese herbal medicine containing aristolochic acid without apparent toxicity to the kidneys role. Which provide an experimental basis for the clinical use of drugs , and to lay the groundwork for the corresponding in-depth study .
