Abstract


Carson McCullers ( 1917-1967 ) as an outstanding woman writer in the U.S. Southern literature , lonely theme continued to the creation of unique interpretation . First a \consistent style , her novel reflects both individual self-existent confused , as well as the performance of the people get along indifferent attitude towards life in contemporary American society , and can not really communicate the reality . This paper begins with the text content , the lonely discusses the content and features of the theme , combing novel specific connotation .
