Abstract


Quality-oriented education concentrates its main function on the development of human personality; it provides everyone who receives an education with the full exploration and development of their potential. Strictly speaking, each educate alternative should set their own unique development objective. Moral education which lays the foundation of quality-oriented education and plays a role of top priority in higher education shares the same purpose with education. Contemporary students in college should pay attentions that learning what they will be and what discernment between righteous and evil goes before getting the knowledge on a special field.The civilian-run college is a main part of higher education in our country, it booms rapidly due to the free choice of the market economy which plays a key role in driving our higher education forward to the stage of mass instruction. College students have got certain degree of moral cognition for they have accommodated the systematic moral education for over ten years, but in reality, there exist a feature that some students act out of joint of their cognition or act count to their cognition. It shows a sharp contrast between their degree of cognition and their action especially in civilian-run college.Nowadays, students in the civilian-run colleges are in want of faith and are obscure towards their outlook on life, what’s more they are fed up with heir school work, play truant and madly cling themselves to the Internet, they also addicted themselves to romance and cohabitation. The low effectiveness of moral education in civilian-run college must be blamed as a vital factor in such consequence. In such case, based on the requirement of our nation which set quality-oriented education as our target, I select research project en titled Strengthening the Effectiveness of Moral Education in Civilian-run College On the Background of Quality-oriented Education, in order to analyze the causes of the low effectiveness of moral education in civilian-run college and sum up the effective approach to strengthen the effectiveness of moral education in civilian-run college according to the characteristic of objects, content and the practical entity in moral education. I also anticipate that it can help enhance the quality of students in civilian-run college entirely and enable them to be the qualified professionals graced with virtues and talents and in wanted by our society.
