Abstract


In recent years, the car manufacturing industry developed rapidly, but also put forward higher requirements for auto parts manufacturing. But, most of the domestic auto parts manufacturers lag the overall technical level is not high; mold development is usually for a specific part, low the specialized production levels and efficiency, high cost, limit the further development of the automobile manufacturing . How to use the more cost-effective way to change this situation became current in the auto parts manufacturing industry is a very important research topic. Among the auto parts, there are a considerable number of similar overall appearance, just a few key different size or model, we will define it as serial parts. The appearance quality car parts, mechanical properties, and design accuracy is three vital aspects, these three links with mold design, manufacturing and commissioning of precision of a great relationship. In this paper, the serialization auto parts mold design as a breakthrough study, Pro / E system development platform, Pro / toolkit and VC of the development kit comes with Pro / E system developed as a tool to auto serial parts of straight bevel gear mold digital design system, trying to provide a more cost-effective method for automotive parts mold development. In this paper the car serial parts representative straight bevel gears, for example, discussed in detail throughout the development process of the system. Pro / E system parameters and Digitizing function applied to straight bevel gear mold development process, achieved through the parameters of the modified parts of the series consists of a set of molds for all sets of molds. In the development process, the use of \Toothed line toward authority involute relationship equation to control implementation. To overcome the the parts directly generated by the Pro / E system can not achieve parametric control cavity drawbacks. Visual interface technology system interface development process, synchronous mode using Pro / toolkit language development, making the system run more stable, while the same style with Pro / E system UI dialog boxes and menus; using VC handy interactive interface design, greatly improving the use and management of the system efficiency. Through the CAE software DEFORM virtual manufacturing functions, mold developed by the system in the entire production process in the virtual process simulation.
