Objective: To investigate Fuzheng anti-cancer soup on the growth of human liver tumor inhibition and its possible mechanism , comparing righting cancer soup with traditional chemotherapy drugs doxorubicin , and righting of different doses of anti-cancer soup on the growth of human liver cancer xenografts therapeutic effect, and to detect the inhibitory effect of of righting the anticancer soup hEPATOMA formed . Methods : 32 nude mice , 6 weeks old, were randomly divided into a control group , Chinese medicine low dose group , Chinese high-dose group and the doxorubicin group , regular measurement of tumor volume modeling , 40d mice were sacrificed , whichever HCC tissues with immunohistochemical detection of tumor microvessel density (MVD), vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and basic fibroblast growth factor (b-FGF) expression and comparison between groups . Results: The tumor inhibitory rate of traditional Chinese medicine low dose group , high dose group and the doxorubicin group were 37% , 40% and 34 % , respectively , between the three treatment groups tumor inhibition rate was no significant difference ( p gt ; 0.05) . 40d tumor volume ( mm 3) control group , the MVD value and VEGF and b FGF positive rate order 1640.25 ± 512.13,16.8 ± 5.2,88 % , 75 % ; Chinese medicine low dose group 1032.75 ± 570.01,10.6 ± 2.7,38% , 25% ; high dose group 982.00 ± 443.13,8.4 ± 2.9,25 % , 25 % ; the doxorubicin group 1089.94 ± 250.30,11.5 ± 3.1,62 % , 50 % . tumor volume of each treatment group compared with control group difference there were significant ( P lt; 0.05 ) . Chinese medicine low dose group and high dose group MVD value and VEGF, bFGF expression were significantly lower than the control group ( P lt; 0.05 ) . Conclusion righting anti-cancer soup significantly inhibited the growth of human liver tumor , possibly through inhibition of tumor vascular endothelial growth factor synthesis and inhibit tumor angiogenesis to anti-cancer effect .
