Abstract


Background and Objective] since 1989 found that cyclooxygenase ( cyclooxygenase , COX ) has two isomers cyclooxygenase -1 ( the spectrum of effects of [cyclooxygenase - 1 , COX -1 ) and cyclooxygenase -2 (cyclooxygenase- since COX - 2 ) , COX - 2 become a hot research in the last decade , most of the research focuses on inflammation and tumor in the kidney is less . The study found that : COX -2 is mainly expressed in normal kidney tissue in the macula densa of the kidney , vascular endothelial , epithelial cells, medullary interstitial cells . With renal hemodynamics , water and salt metabolism and kidney development are closely related. In some animal models of kidney disease , the kidneys are not only the structure type of COX - 2 and inducible COX - 2 . 5/6 renal resection model in the surgery group compared with the sham group , the renal cortex in COX - 2 - RNA and immunoglobulin , while COX-1 had no significant difference , indicating that COX-2 may be in the kidney cells play an important role in the division and proliferation . In animal models of unilateral ureteral obstruction (unilateral ureteral obstuction, UUO) , the surgery group renal plasma flow and glomerular filtration rate decreased significantly. COX-2 expression in the renal cortex was significantly reduced, medulla increased significantly . COX-1 in the experimental group and the control group , the renal cortex and medulla no significant change. This shows that COX - 2 synthesis of prostaglandins contribute to the re- allocation of the renal blood flow . In addition , experiments show that: in the anti-basement membrane glomerulonephritis , diffuse proliferative glomerulonephritis , Heymann nephritis also have inducible COX-2 upregulation . Seen in this light COX-2 may be involved in the pathogenesis of nephritis . COX-2 in lupus nephritis (lupus nephritis, LN) is not yet reported . Studies have shown that : in LN patients peripheral blood mononuclear lymphocytes , interleukin -1 ( interleukin - 1 , IL - 1 ) , interleukin -6 ( interleukin - 1 , IL - 1 ) , tumor necrosis factor ( tumor necrosis factor TNF ) was significantly increased, so that these cytokines may be in
