Abstract

Diabetes ( Diabetes Mellitus , DM ) is a serious hazard to people's health epidemic . Has become the third largest cause of death after cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases and malignant tumors , and its harmfulness performance in the high mortality rate caused by the chronic complications , morbidity . Chronic complications of diabetes include large and medium-sized vascular disease and microvascular disease, both in type 1 diabetes (type 1 diabetes mellitus, T1DM) and type 2 diabetes ( type 2 diabetes mellitus , T2DM ) the occurrence of the development of different : a general view T2DM large and medium-sized vascular disease and microvascular disease coexist, large and medium-sized atherosclerosis (atherosclerosis, As) is the main cause of dead ; the T1DM vascular complications in microvascular disease is more common , and the progress of type 2 was significantly faster , diabetic nephropathy ( diabetic nephropathy , DN ) as the major cause of fatality in patients with type 1 diabetes . The above phenomenon is currently no satisfactory explanation , but prompted T1DM and T2DM complications mechanisms may not be identical . Recently it has been found that : in the case of use of exogenous insulin to control blood glucose closest still remaining patients compared to certain islet residue of type 1 diabetes in people with complete destruction of pancreatic islet microvascular neurological complications often occur late . It was thus that the residual activity of endogenous insulin than exogenous insulin . With the large number of foreign studies have shown that C-peptide ( connecting Peptide CP ) the presence of biological activity , the role of C-peptide in the residual islet should be more reasonable explanation . C - peptide molecules such as insulin release the polypeptide , in addition to assisting the formation of a disulfide bond between to cysteine ??residues in the A chain and B chain , auxiliary insulin , C - peptide has been considered the original molecule peptide chain correctly folded no biological activity. Recently, foreign studies have shown that C - peptide may increase tissue sodium-potassium ATPase enzyme activity (referred to as the ATP enzyme, after the same ) and the promotion of nitric oxide treatment of type 1 ( Nitric Oxide , NO ) synthesis of sugar
