Abstract


In significant positive changes in the current cross-strait relations under the new situation, Fujian Province, to seize this historic opportunity to exploit the comparative advantage proposed to build the development strategy of the West Coast Economic Zone to promote sound and rapid economic development. Speed ??up the construction of the economic zone on the west side of the Straits, both projects, and promote the development of industrial clusters, the bigger and stronger of the central city, first of all must be the support, protection and promotion of human capital. This paper attempts to reveal the inherent relationship between human capital and economic growth of the economic zone on the west side of the Straits as well as the elements of human capital in economic growth and the impact of human capital and economic growth model analysis, so as to optimize the human capital to promote the economic growth of the economic zone on the west side of the Straits policy recommendations to promote the comprehensive development of the economic zone on the west side of the Straits, the road of talent and strong areas. The text consists of seven parts: The first chapter. A brief description of the purpose of this study, the significance, literature review, research methods and content framework. Overview of the second chapter of the human capital theory. First defined the concept of human capital, followed Overview classification and characteristics of human capital, the final analysis of the human capital and human resources, and regional economic growth. The third chapter of the economic zone on the west side of the Straits economic development and human capital formation and the status quo. Elaborated the strategic concept of the economic zone on the west side of the Straits, and display the status quo of the regional economic development, and analysis of the regional human capital formation and the status quo, as well as the problems and dissect the problem. The fourth chapter of human capital analysis and selection of the theoretical model of economic growth. Systematically expounded Harrod - Domar model, Cobb - Douglas model, neoclassical growth model, and human capital overflow model, select the appropriate calculation model of the human capital contribution rate of economic growth in the economic zone on the west side of the Straits. Chapter empirical analysis of human capital and economic growth of the economic zone on the west side of the Straits.
