This thesis will try to do a research on the impact of extroverted degree of economy on employment, based on different kinds of employment theories and the main methods of measurement on the ratio of dependence on foreign trade, establish an econometric model on the data of unemployment and ratio of dependence on foreign trade since China implementation of the reform and opening up policy, through the data processing and inspection, come to the conclusions that the positive relationship between the two, and will try to use the employment situation under the financial crisis in China in 2008 for this explanation, and thus make the relevant policy recommendations to expand employment.First of all, this thesis describes the relevant literature about the impact of extroverted degree of economy on employment, summarized the views of the existing literature. In the following part, the author analysis the situation of extroverted degree of economy and employment in our country, and described the impact mechanism of extroverted degree of economy on employment. In succession,the author provides the theoretical explanation about the phenomenon of unemployment in our country in the background of financial crisis, using the method of comparative analysis to reflect the characteristics of China’s unemployment in the financial crisis. On the one hand, select more export-oriented enterprises in developed cities or regions in China, analysis the flow of the unemployed labor force of these enterprises in the background of financial crisis. On the other hand, select the representative of China’s labor-exporting province, analysis migrant workers to return home where the type of corporation they engaged before returning home. By comparing the two, argues that migrant workers return home because of the impact of the financial crisis is the unemployed labor force caused by the export-oriented enterprises cut and bankrupt, and expose the critical reason of decreasing employment in the financial crisis in China. Next, the thesis establish an econometric model between the ratio of unemployment and the ratio of dependence on foreign trade, through the initial degree of linear regression to reflect the impact on employment, and use co-integration test to prove that there exists a long-term stable relationship between two. Finally, through analysis the conclusions in detail, we propose a series of expansion employment policy proposals.
