Abstract


As China accessed WTO in 2001, after the socio-economic reform process and promoting market-oriented journalism, quantity and quality of China’s financial press have been greatly developed, but also growing by public concern. In this context, China’s financial press in a timely manner provide financial information at the same time, also played an increasingly important role, which including one of the financial press most important functions -- public opinion supervision functions. Its functions are conducive to safeguarding the interests of society and promote social development, the development of our country is very necessary and important. But in China, as the market operation of the financial press is not a long history of development, its own development also need to constantly improve, capacity also need to constantly improve, coupled with some external conditions, the current financial press at a time when public opinion is also there are still many problems, which are a common problem restricting their public opinion fulfilling its functions. So how to solve these problems, became the financial press to play a key function of good supervision by public opinion.In this paper, journalism, media studies, communications, economics and sociology and other related academic knowledge as a theoretical basis, using data compilation method, content analysis, comparative analysis of law and practice - theory - practice and other analytical methods in order to finance the press as a research subject, the status of public opinion on the financial newspaper conducted a comprehensive analysis of research. In this paper, newspapers and public opinion defined the function of financial necessity and importance; secondly, through the newspapers and public opinion on the financial status of analysis, perspective out of the current financial newspapers in China there is some of the key issues and the reasons for the formation of these issues were to explore to find the essence of the problem; Finally, the article itself for the financial press how to improve public opinion feature provides a reference to suggestions. In general, these theoretical studies, not only enrich the academic world to the financial press and news media research content, but also directly to the press in the public opinion in the current financial and economic problems that exist, providing a solution reference.
